Herbal Essences shampoo and Bonnie Bell Lipsmackers to JD Salinger and Hieronymous Bosch, Serge Gainsbourg, Soul Train and Jan Van Eyck. Having been fully absorbed into her skin, they had no choice, really, but to find their way into her own work. Or not. It really depends on the day.
