Courtney Oquist is a fine artist based out of Long Beach, California. Her work explores many themes, including her love of nature, beauty, fashion, and the mysterious nature and relationship of all living things. Her inspirations come from patterns and colors found in nature, bird watching, musical structures, film narratives, the decorative qualities of vintage children’s books and memorabilia, and other artists’ work.

Courtney’s painting technique is varied and sometimes merges oil painting, illustration, and mixed media applications of resin and collage. The works are aesthetically aware and captivating on many levels.
