Linda Plaisted is a classically-trained painter, photographer and mixed media artist who has exhibited her work in galleries and museums throughout North America. Her work is held in private and corporate collections worldwide and seen on art and design favorites such as DailyCandy, Design*Sponge, IndieLove, Apartment Therapy, and many more. She currently lives and works near Washington, DC.

Each piece of artwork she creates is layered by hand with images she has captured in her photographs, drawings, paintings and collected ephemera to create dreamy collage pieces with subtle depth and detail. Her delight in nature and unique ability to conjure mood from the simplest of compositions is evident in her work, leaving us with a bittersweet view of what remains.
