Marisa Haedike is an artist, designer, and illustrator living in sunny Los Angeles, California. Yes, it’s true, Marisa also believes that the clues to what will bring you happiness as an adult lie in what you loved as a child. After several years exploring creative careers in advertising, graphic design and interior design, Marisa Haedike re-discovered true happiness and fulfillment in painting; what she cherished most as a child.

A prolific creator, a lover of color, a lover of life… on most days, and a spirited person on all days, Marisa recently joined the movement of daily painters. She paints and posts a new original painting online, just about every day. All of her paintings are acrylic on wood, often combined with pencil, conte crayon, pastels and mixed media.

“The beauty of art is its ability to evoke a feeling within in all of us whether we are the creators or the viewers”. Inspired to live a genuine life with as much love, joy and serenity, as she can allow, Marisa has often been told that her art makes people feel happy. Since her latest definition of success is to “live as many happy days as you can”; if her pieces bring even a little more joy to your life, then Marisa is thrilled!

What started originally as a mission to expand her own creativity, Marisa’s company Creative Thursday is now growing into a movement to inspire others to follow their creative dreams. Marisa just released her first book that she both wrote and illustrated. Marisa is also leading the Creative Thursday workshops in Southern California, and hosting, writing and producing a podcast called of course, Creative Thursday.

An entrepreneurial spirit who will never be boxed in; her wish is that everybody find what makes them happy and always follow their heart
