Julianna Swaney is an artist and illustrator living in Portland OR. She grew up always playing in the woods with a pack of dogs and cats, building forts and catching fireflies, but when she did come inside she was drawing all the time. When she grew up she attended art school and lived on the East Coast for a while before up and moving to the West Coast. She is most inspired by animals, old postcards and ephemera, Victorian clothing, trees, and fairy tales.
