The Puzzle Screen by Egawa + Zbryk

Velocity Art And Design is thrilled to bring to you the wonderful designs of Egawa + Zbryk. The first product that we will be featuring is their puzzle screen. This screen was chosen as one of the items to be featured in the 2001 issue of I.D. Magazine's Annual Design Review. It seems that this screen is gaining fans everywhere it appears. We are sure that you will love this item as a room divider, a sculpture, freestanding wall, retail ,or hospitality industry gem.

This screen comes in two versions. The 3/4" birch ply has a warm finish, and contoured edges. The steel version reminds us of our favorite Calder stabiles. Strong lines, and yet open enough to allow light to filter through the organic shapes. This steel is powder coated in either white or black.

There are no tools needed for assembly, as it locks together like a giant Tinkertoy for adults. This screen is purchased by the piece, so that you can modify the size and shape as needed. We recommend that you not go above five rows tall for the steel version, and no taller than seven rows for the birch version. You can extend this piece as wide as your heart desires. Due to the puzzle of this piece, it must be either three, five, or seven rows tall. It must also be at least two sections wide. We would be happy to help you with your order.
