The companion to the Laurie Simmons Dessert Plate Set includes four graceful teacups and saucers. The teacups are lined in the same pastel shades as the matching dessert plates. The teacup and saucer set makes a lovely gift when paired with the Laurie Simmons Dessert Plates or creates a sweet statement on it's own.

Simmons received a BFA from Tyler School of Art in 1971. Ms Simmons lives and works in New York City with her husband, the painter Carroll Dunham, and their two daughters, Lena and Grace. She has had fifteen one-person exhibitions in NYC, including seven at Metro Pictures. She has exhibited widely in the United States and Europe. Her work is part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City,the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles,the Philadelphia Museum of Art,the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC,the Hara Museum in Tokyo,and the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art in Amsterdam, among others.
