The Whale Tongs by Design House Stockholm

Inspired by the designer’s love of the ocean and the graceful shape of a whale’s tail as it disappears into the depths, these handcrafted wooden tongs are an essential for serving salads and other foods. The novel, patented magnetic hinge makes the tongs easy to separate and use in other areas of food preparation as well as easy to clean. The designer donates a percent of profit to the Save the Whales foundation. Winner of the Tasmanian Design Award 2006. This product is hand-wash only.
